Randomness: Islam gone high tech.

Did anyone say that Muslims are living in past? That they are primitive? Well then I have news for you. Last night as I was in bed (since it seems to be the only place on the face of this planet where I can get a wifi connection on the phone.) looking for fun shit to download for my iPhone I came across an application called iEathalal.

At the first glance it didn't really seem to be that exiting, it's basically a guide to what is Halal (ok to eat.) Haram (not ok to eat.) and Mushbooh (unclear if it's ok to eat or not.). But man was i wrong!
After spending the entire day running around town checking what is Halal or not, I have to say that this application is by far the best one I've downloaded for the Iphone! Yes it's even more fun than the Nintendo emulator..

The data is based upon research conducted by several European universities, a number of government organizations and Islamic bodies. But to quote the iEathalal website, "However, Allah (sw) is the Supreme Judge and All Knower of everything, and we ask Him for forgiveness for any mistake that may have been made during the process.".

Well I hope for the guy's at iEathalal that the information is correct and that Allah will be forgiving enough not to shove a lightning rod up their asses in the case of any mistakes.

So whether you're a Muslim or not I suggest you download this kick ass application asap!
