It looks like I made a mistake in the previous post. Skippy is obviously a female kangaroo and not a male as mentioned in the text. I'm terribly sorry if anyone got upset over this. This changes everything for me on a personal level since I have been under the impression that Skippy was a male kangaroo during the last 25 years.....However this is yet another step towards a more equal society.

There once was a kangaroo that could do things most humans wouldn't dream of doing these days. How many of us could claim that we have untied difficult granny knots or kicked the shit out of dingos and snakes, all in the name of saving the Australian fauna? (Skippy does this to control the number of dingos and only attack snakes that are not indigenous).
