Billy Mays R.I.P

As long as we seem to be into some kind of infomercial frenzy here, I wanted to take the chance to honor Billy " The Beard " Mays who passed away recently. The man with the heftiest beard in info-business and with a voice so loud you might think he marketed the hearing impaired will be missed.

Ways Of Seeing

I have been reading parts of a book by John Berger called Ways Of Seeing for a subject we're having in school. What I thought would be just another mundane reading exercise turned out to be one of the most interesting and entertaining texts I have ever read. Written in 1972 the subjects that Berger talks about are highly relevant until this day. Here's the BBC television series also from the 70's that lead up to the book. Enjoy!
