While we're at it posting music videos let's have a look at this fantastic video directed by my After Effects teacher Joan Guasch, starring myself amongst others. As you can see Joan forced me too ride a set of escalators barefoot over and over again ( a major nightmare scenario for me. ) on what I remember as one of the coldest days ever in Barcelona, but on the other hand he also thought me how to do stuff in After Effects. So I guess we're even steven on this one. Anyhow, enjoy this video and also make sure you visit Joan's website.
Yes, Iranian weddings are awesome, I would be the first one to agree! The food is great, the people are nice, and the dancing is insane even though it gets out of hand from time to time. Now during my 27 years I have been to a couple of them, mostly when I was a kid. But nowhere in my recollection can I find ANYTHING like this! If there was a top-list of Iranian weddings this one would without an doubt be the undisputed super heavyweight champion of them all! Is there really a dude with Aladdin pants and a MJ jacket doing freakin handstand on crotches or am I dreaming!??

Stephen Colbert seems to be very into Sweden lately, first with the appearance of Luleå's finest, Movits and not so long ago with the Swedish tobacco industries finest, snus on the Colbert Report. Cuudos to you Stephen! As we Swedes know snus is not something to mess around with if you're a newbie, no sir. First time snusers normally end up vomiting involuntarily, which is not to be confused with voluntary vomiting, which according to my people seems to be a popular pastime amongst kids nowadays. Stephen however handles it like a Lapplandish lumberjack! Have a peek here, since I can't seem to embed the damn clip. //Shahin
So the weekend is once again over and with it the Mercè 09 festival. This is ( for does who don't know ) a street festival with free concerts from some pretty big acts playing around Barcelona, and as usual it sucked balls. Crowded streets, drunk teenagers gone bat shit and bad sound all around.
The Friday was ok with The Go! Team playing at Plaza Real. We also went out to Forum to check out our buddy Hector and his friends thug it up a notch with their fixed gear bikes on stage at the 7 Notas 7 Colores concert, which meant we had to wrestle our way home on the metro at 5 in the morning. So in other words the Saturday started out with a "stay in and do nothing" mentality.
The Saturday night started out with watching the Barça game in Gracia with Hector, Madde and Albin at this bar Hector had been talking about with 1 euro beers. So naturally the "stay in and do nothing" mentality quickly changed to "hey why not" when Hector suggested we go hang out in Born where his friend Oliver from 7 Notas 7 Colores was DJing. Well at the place Pedro, Mackan and Vanessa showed up and the whole Equally Foolish crew was united. Soon the mood went from "hey why not" to "this could be something", and the rest ladies and gentlemen was a night for the history books!
To our surprise non other than Tony Touch a.k.a Tony Toca was also there since he had Dj'd for 7 Notas 7 Colores the night before, and beat after beat and song after song was laid down. I think they played every tune we could ever wish for and the mood went straight up to "I can't handle this no more" which in it's turn meant an invasion of the dancefloor.
You know when your expecting something to stop just because you think it cant get any better? Well this beast would not be stopped! Well after 3 a clock when they normally close the place and people had left, the beast transformed it self into a private gig with Oliver a.k.a Mucho Muchacho doing some freestyling on the headphones and Toca at the tables, and when they played the song which I have posted, we all went into "fainting like a lady in a classic movie" mode and I personally felt like I was 15 again.
The morning after I didn't wake up with a hangover, but with a smile on my face going from one ear too the other! Thank you Hector, Mucho and Toca for the best freakin night ever!
Since I didn't really find anything interesting on the Internet for the last 10-11 months I haven't been so super-duper-active posting here on the blog... Recently though, I came across some really cool stuff that I cant wait to share with everyone equally foolish as us.

Released with the his new album TheBlueprint 3, Albin stands for the Death Of Auto Tune t-shirt.
